Lub d in Siem Reap was our cozy abode during our month-long Cambodian adventure. Let me tell you, this place is slick, one of the most modern hostels we stayed in. The whole joint is spotless, and their dorms are surprisingly spacious with a clever design that still gives you your privacy.

Then there’s the bathrooms, big and clean, just the way you want them. They’ve got a sweet pool too, complete with a swim-up bar. Now, the catch was that we visited right after the COVID storm, so it was quieter than a library. The usual hostel buzz was missing, but it seems like Lub d’s got its groove back since then.

Overall, Lub d Siem Reap was a very comfortable haven for us and was a great location. It might have been a tad low-key when we visited, but it’s got all the makings of a buzzing backpacker hub. If you’re looking for modern digs that won’t break the bank, this place is a solid choice.
