Map of the Best Breakfast & Brunch Spots in Siem Reap
The Top Breakfast and Brunch Spots in Siem Reap, Cambodia
1. Sister Srey

Price Point: $4–10 per person
Best For: Healthy brunch, smoothie bowls, Khmer breakfast
Standout Dish: Khmer breakfast soup & banana bread
If you’re looking for one of the best breakfast spots in Siem Reap, Sister Srey is an absolute must. We loved it so much we ended up going twice—which says everything.
The smoothie bowls and banana bread are genuinely amazing, but the standout for us was the Khmer breakfast soup. Packed with lemongrass, galangal, and fresh herbs, it’s full of flavour and a great way to try something local.
2. Onederz Hostel

Price Point: $3–8 per person
Best For: Early breakfasts, Angkor Wat sunrise, variety
Standout Dish: Sunrise breakfast & avocado toast
Onederz isn’t just a great hostel—it’s also one of the best breakfast spots we found in Siem Reap.
The real highlight though? Their “Sunrise Breakfast” from 4am, which is perfect before heading to Angkor Wat.
We stayed at Onederz hostel during our month in Cambodia and it was by far one of our favourites!
3. Little Red Fox Espresso
Price Point: $5–12 per person
Best For: Coffee lovers, dietary options, relaxed brunch
Standout Dish: Fresh bagels (build your own)
Little Red Fox Espresso is easily one of the best cafés in Siem Reap. Their menu is perfect if you’ve got dietary requirements—loads of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options without sacrificing flavour.
Their bagels are unreal, and the coffee is some of the best we had in the city.
One thing we really liked was how customisable everything is. The extras menu lets you build your perfect breakfast—whether that’s adding bacon, cheese, or scrambled tofu.
They also do great work supporting the local community, which makes it even more worth visiting.
4. Footprint Cafe

Price Point: $4–10 per person
Best For: Local dishes, ethical dining, brunch near Pub Street
Standout Dish: Lok Lak & morning glory
Just a short walk from Pub Street, Footprint Cafe is a brilliant all-rounder for brunch or lunch.
We’d highly recommend going for the local dishes here—the stir-fried morning glory and Lok Lak were easily some of the best we had in Cambodia.
What makes it even better is that it’s a social enterprise café, donating 100% of net profits to local education and business projects. Great food and a great cause.
5. Sambo Khmer and Thai

Price Point: $3–8 per person
Best For: Authentic local food, family-run atmosphere
Standout Dish: Khmer breakfast dishes & pancakes
Sambo is one of those places that just feels special. It’s family-run, super welcoming, and the food is consistently excellent.
We visited multiple times and always had a great experience. The menu mixes Khmer and Thai dishes, so there’s plenty to choose from.
The owners have been through a lot, especially during the pandemic, so supporting them feels even more meaningful.
6. Malis (not visited)
Price Point: $15–30 per person
Best For: Upscale dining, special occasions
Malis is known as one of the most elegant restaurants in Siem Reap, set in beautiful gardens that make it feel like a proper escape from the city.
We didn’t get the chance to visit, but it’s firmly on our list for next time. The menu focuses on refined Cambodian cuisine, and everything we’ve heard suggests it’s well worth it if you’re after something a bit more special.
7. Bayon Pastry School
Price Point: $3–8 per person
Best For: Coffee, pastries, ethical travel
If you’re after a relaxed coffee and pastry spot, Bayon Pastry School is a great choice.
Not only is the setting lovely (think garden café vibes), but your visit also supports training programmes for underprivileged young women learning pastry and bakery skills.
It’s one of those places where you can enjoy a slow morning and feel good about it too.
8. Brother Bong Cafe
Price Point: $3–7 per person
Best For: Smoothie bowls, quick breakfast, friendly vibe
Brother Bong is perfect for a laid-back, healthy start to the day.
Their smoothie bowls, fresh juices, and coffee are all spot on, and the staff are genuinely lovely. It’s one of those places that just feels easy—no fuss, just good food and a nice atmosphere.
9. WILD

Price Point: $5–12 per person
Best For: Lunch, garden setting, spring rolls
Standout Dish: Fresh spring rolls
WILD is technically more of a lunch spot, but we had to include it.
Their spring rolls are genuinely some of the best we’ve ever had – fresh, flavourful, and packed with goodness.
The garden setting is beautiful, and the whole place has a really relaxed, slightly jungle-like vibe.
10. New Leaf Eatery

Price Point: $3–8 per person
Best For: All-day breakfast, social enterprise, smoothies
Standout Dish: Passionfruit smoothie
New Leaf was one of our favourite hidden gems in Siem Reap.
Their all-day breakfast is ideal if you’ve had a late night (which is very easy around Pub Street), and the passionfruit smoothie was a standout for us.
Like a few places on this list, it’s also a social enterprise supporting local education projects.
11. Dialogue Siem Reap

Price Point: $4–10 per person
Best For: Digital nomads, coffee, relaxed work spot
Standout Dish: Full English breakfast
Dialogue Café is a quirky, creative space filled with artwork and personality.
We found it to be a great place to sit down with a coffee and get some work done. If you’re craving a taste of home, they also do a solid full English breakfast.
It’s a nice mix of good food, calm atmosphere, and a bit of local creativity.
FAQs for the best breakfast spots in Siem Reap
Most of the breakfast spots on this list had great veggie and vegan options available but Footprints Cafe had by far the best!
A traditional Cambodian breakfast often includes “Bai Sach Chrouk,” consisting of grilled pork served with rice and a side of pickled vegetables. It’s a flavorful combination that provides a glimpse into Cambodia’s culinary heritage and local flavours.
How much a brunch or breakfast costs in Cambodia will completely depend on what kind of cafe or restaurant you visit. However, you should expect to pay anywhere between $2-$10 for a breakfast dish.

Final Thoughts on Brunch in Siem Reap
Siem Reap seriously impressed us when it came to food. From the fresh spring rolls at WILD to the banana bread at Sister Srey, there’s so much variety that you’ll never get bored.
We love a good brunch (probably a bit too much), and this city easily became one of our favourites for it.
